Are the BH360A suitable for kids?
The Mpow BH360A are fabulous headphones for kids. They are designed to be comfortable and safe, which is essential when you have little ones running around. The ear cups are soft and padded, so they won’t hurt your child’s ears if they fall asleep whilst wearing them. The headband is also padded, so it won’t dig into their heads when they wear them for long periods.
The ear cups rotate 90 degrees so you can fold them flat when not in use or if you want to store them in a small space like a backpack or purse. The ear cups also swivel 90 degrees so you can lay them flat on the table if your child wants to watch something on their tablet or phone while wearing the headphones.
This rotation makes it easy to keep the cord out of the way while still being able to listen to music or watch videos without having to hold the device.
Build quality
The Mpow BH360A are made of plastic, but they feel sturdy and well-made. The plastic is thick and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The hinges are metal and seem to be well-made. The ear cups rotate smoothly, and the swivel mechanism feels solid. The headband is also made of metal and feels very sturdy.
It has a lovely spring to it so it will flex if your child bends their head forward or back, but it won’t collapse if they lean too far forward or back. The ear cups are covered in a soft, smooth material that is comfortable against your child’s skin. They are also easy to clean if they get dirty or sweaty.
Noise Cancellation
The Mpow BH360A have passive noise cancellation, which means they don’t have active noise cancellation like some other headphones for kids do. This passive cancellation means that they won’t block out as much background noise as some other headphones for kids do, but they will still block out enough noise to help your child sleep on a plane or in a car without being disturbed by the background noise around them.
They also have an in-line microphone so you can use them for phone calls if you need to talk to someone while your child is wearing them.
Design and Comfort
The Mpow BH360A look like regular headphones except for the color scheme and the fact that they have “Kids” written on the side of each ear cup in big letters. They come in blue, pink, green, orange, purple, black, white, red, yellow, and gray so you can choose whichever color best matches your child’s personality or favorite color.
They are designed for kids ages 3-12 years old, so they should fit most children comfortably without being too tight or too loose on their heads. They weigh just over 10 ounces, so they aren’t heavy enough to cause discomfort when worn for long periods by children of any age group.
With a fold-up flat design, you can store them easily when not in use or when traveling with your child by plane or car.
They come with a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer against defects in materials and artistry, which is great because kids can be rough on things sometimes! If you have any issues with these headphones within the first year after purchase contact customer service and they will help you get a replacement or a refund.
How do the BH360A sound?
The Mpow BH360A have 40mm drivers that deliver clear, crisp sound. They have a frequency response of 20-20,000Hz, which is great for kids because it means they can hear the full range of sounds from low bass to high treble. They have an impedance of 32 ohms which means they will work with most smartphones and tablets without needing an amplifier.
The sound quality is good for the price and should be more than adequate for your child’s needs. They are loud enough to be heard over background noise like the TV or radio, but not so loud that they will damage your child’s hearing if they listen to them at high volumes for long periods.
Does the BH360A have a microphone?
Yes, the Mpow BH360A have an in-line microphone so you can use them for phone calls if you need to talk to someone while your child is wearing them. The microphone is located on the cord near the left ear cup so it will pick up your voice clearly when you are talking on the phone while your child is wearing them.
It also has a built-in volume control and play/pause button so you can control music playback without having to reach into your pocket or purse to get your phone out every time you want to change songs or pause playback.
The buttons are easy to find by feel and easy to press, so even young children can use them without any problems.
What about wireless?
The Mpow BH360A are wired headphones with a 3.5mm audio jack that plugs into most smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices with a 3.5mm audio jack input port. They don’t have Bluetooth capability so you will need to plug them into your device using the included audio cable if you want wireless music playback capability.
Should I buy them?
The Mpow BH360A are fabulous headphones for kids. They are comfortable, durable, and safe for kids. They are also very affordable, which is great for parents on a budget.
