Riwbox CT-7S Review
The Riwbox CT-7S Cat Ear Headphones are a pair of headphones for kids. They are from a Chinese manufacturer, but the quality is good. The company is in Shenzhen, China, and they have a great Amazon store. They are most of the most popular brands when it comes to kids headphones, so when considering the Best Headphones for Kids, we had to mention them.
Build quality
The build quality is excellent. It has a hard molded exterior, and the ear cups are made from soft, plush material. The headband is also very soft, and I do not think it will cause any discomfort.

Noise Cancellation
The noise cancellation is average, but it is more than adequate for a pair of kids headphones. My little one can hear noises around him, but the noise canceling feature will drown the noise out.
Design
The design is very good with a cat ear shape to them, and they are very comfortable. The headband has a LED light which can be toggled with a button on the headband, something your kids are going to absolutely love. Another thing that is nice to have on a pair of kids headphones is a microphone.
Comfort
These are very comfortable due to the memory foam ear cups and the soft, plush material, and they do not put any pressure on the head at all. The headband is also very soft and will not cause any discomfort.
Features
A nice feature on this pair of headphones is that they are Bluetooth enabled so you can connect them to your mobile device. They are also able to be used when plugged into your device as well, and they have an 85dB volume limiter built-in which is very good for kids headphones. They have a built-in microphone which makes it easy for kids to answer their phones or use it for games or video calls. The battery life is also very good; it can last for up to 10 hours of use.
How do they sound?
These sound pretty good for kids headphones. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality and the volume levels. The bass is a little weak, but if you crank up the volume too high then you will risk damaging your child’s ears, so 85dB is more than enough.
Usability
These are very easy to use with a single button on each ear cup that allows you to take a call, play/pause music and turn them on or off as well as changing the volume. There is a button on each ear cup, allowing your child to change the song via Bluetooth.
These are very easy to clean with just a soft cloth and some warm water. The battery takes approximately 2 hours to charge from empty, and it lasts for up to 10 hours which is excellent when charging time takes 2 hours!
What about wireless?
The wireless functionality is excellent with a rapid Bluetooth connection, and they are also able to be used when plugged into your device as well.
How good is the case?
The case is very good. It is quite large and will fit the headphones and the USB cable and charger with no problems at all. I love the magnetic closure on it too. The headphones sit in there very well. If you are going to be traveling a lot with these headphones, then you will be able to take them with you everywhere without a problem, and you will know for sure that they will be safe in the case.
What’s in the box?
When you buy these headphones, you get a charging cable, charging adapter, user manual, warranty card, Riwbox sticker and of course the headphones themselves which is pretty much everything that you need to get started with these headphones. The only thing that I would have liked to see in there was some travel pouch so that I can carry them around without worrying about damaging them.
Are they compatible with games consoles?
These are not compatible with games consoles at all. They do however have a built-in microphone which means that they can be used for Skype calls, voice calls and other chat programs which is great for kids if they are using them from home or school for their computer. They can also be used on mobile devices like the iPad or Android tablets or phones if they have a 3.5mm headphone jack which makes them compatible with almost any device out there!
Should I buy them?
I would recommend these headphones without any question. They have an excellent sound quality for kids headphones, Bluetooth functionality which is great for kids who are always on their mobile device.
They also feature a 85dB volume limiter built-in which is more than enough to protect your child’s hearing while allowing them to listen to music and comfortable ear cups which contain memory foam so your child should not experience any discomfort when wearing them for extended periods. They have a built-in microphone so your child can answer their phone calls or use it for games or video calls!
